Rangamati: Two activists of Parbotto Chottogram Jonoshonghoti Shomiti (PCJSS-MN Larma) were shot dead in a gunfight with members of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) at Bangaltali in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early on Wednesday.

Identities of the deceased could not be confirmed.

The Baghaichhari Police Officer-in-charge Abdul Karim said the duo died on the spot during the gunfight between the two rival groups over establishing supremacy in the area at about 4:30am.
