Bullet found in teenage Afif’s body
Dhaka: Doctors of Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday found a bullet in the body of teenage boy Afif Quaderi who was killed during a police raid on a militant den at Ashkona in the city.
Professor Sohel Mahmud, head of the department, said that they found several marks of bullet injuries on the body and recovered a bullet from it.
Earlier, two suspected militants, Shakira alias Tahira, wife of absconding militant Sumon, and 15-year-old Afif Kaderi alias Ador, son of Tanvir Quaderi, who was killed in Azimpur raid in September last, were killed and a seven-year-old girl, daughter of slain militant Iqbal, was injured during the raid early Saturday.
Besides two other women -- Jebunnahar Shila and Trisha -- along with two children surrendered to police during the raid.
