JSC examinee ‘kills herself’ in Jessore
Jessore: A Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee who couldn’t pass the examination allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at Baliaghat village in Jessore on Friday.
The deceased was Mim, daughter of Intaz Ali of the village.
Sub-inspector of Jessore Kotwali Model Police Station Tarikul Islam said the family members scolded Mim as she did not come out successful in the JSC examination the result of which was published on Thursday.
Mim took poison in her room early Friday and fell sick.
The girl was taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital where she died around 11am, said the SI.
A UD case was filed in this connection.
