Severe cold wave sweeping over Bangladesh

Dhaka: Severe cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Tangail, Srimangal, Rajshahi, Pabna, Dinajpur, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Panchagarh and Chudanga.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Barisal division and the regions of Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sitakunda, Rangamati, Comilla, Feni, Bogra, Sirajgonj, Rangpur, Sayedpur, Khulna, Satkhira, Jessore and Kushtia and it may continue, a Met Office weather bulletin said on Saturday.

Weather may remain dry over the country. Light to moderate fog is likely to occur at places over the country during mid night till morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 5:32pm on Saturday and rises at 06:43am on Sunday at Dhaka.

The lowest temperature of today was recorded 5.0 degree Celsius at Rajarhat and Tetulia and the highest temperature of on Wednesday was recorded 25.8 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
