A Jubo League leader and a Swechchhasebak Dal leader, who were allegedly abducted by a gang ten days ago, were found alive in Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur.

They safely returned home on early Saturday, reports UNB.

Family members of the duo — Maidul Islam Prince, organising secretary of Naldanga union unit Jubo League, and Shafiul Islam Shapla, former general secretary of Naldanga union unit Swechchhasebak Dal — confirmed their safe return.

The victims claimed that they were picked up by a gang from Naldanga bazaar area in Sadullapur upazila on January 10.

Some people left them in Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur district and they informed to their family about their whereabouts over phone at about 12:30am on Saturday.

Sadullapur police station officer-in-charge Farhad Imrul Kayes confirmed their return.
