Police arrested three more people in connection with the attacks on Hindu community in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Sunday night.

The arrestees are Tabarak Hossain, Saddam Hossain and Ahammad Ali, reports UNB.

Nasirnagar Police Station Officer-in-charge Abu Zafar said they arrested the three from different areas of the upazila on Sunday night.

They were arrested after scrutinising the CCTV video footage of October 30, said the OC.

On 30 October, some unruly people demolished 15 Hindu temples and vandalised more than 100 houses in the upazila following a Facebook post that allegedly hurt the religious sentiment of the Muslim community.

Two cases were filed against 2,400 unidentified people over the attacks.
