Police recovered the throat-slit body of a Kabiraj (herbal medicine practitioner) from his house at Jagannathpur village in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria on Saturday morning.

The deceased is Farid Miah, aged 47, reports UNB.

Kasba Police Station Officer-in-charge Md Mahiuddin said that locals found his body lying at the veranda of his house in the morning and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
