Pirojpur: A mobile court here on Thursday sentenced a teacher and an SSC examinee to a month and 15 days in prison respectively for adopting unfair means during the exam in Mathbaria upazila.

The teacher's name is Shahidul Islam and the student is Mohasin Miah, both of Bhaijora GK High School.

Sheikh M Manjurul Elahi, Mathbaria upazila rural development officer, said Mohasin was giving his accounting examination at the Sapleza Model High School center.

At one stage, Shahidul entered the exam hall and helped Mohasin illegally to write down the answers.

However, Manjurul Elahi caught the teacher and the student red handed during his visit to the school and produced them before the mobile court of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) SM Farid Uddin.
