Moulvibazar: Three persons were killed when their car left the road and hit a tree at Srimangal upazila in Moulvibazar in the early hours of Friday.

The deceased are Raju Shwarnakar, Shobuj Shwarnakar, and the car driver Kajal Dey.

The Srimangal police said two people were killed on the spot as a private car struck a tree beside the road in the Sirajnagar area on the Moulvibazar-Srimangal Highway at about 1:00am.

Fire fighter rescued four injured from the spot and took them to Moulvibazar Hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries.
