Best wishes to people of Bangladesh: Mamata

Dhaka: Hours before the exchange of documents on ratification of Land Boundary Agreement (LBA), West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has greeted the people of Bangladesh and India.
‘On the historic occasion of signing of Land Boundary Agreement, my best wishes to the people of India & Bangladesh,’ she tweeted on Saturday.
Earlier, an Air India airplane carrying Mamata and her retinue reached Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport at about 8:45pm on Friday.
She was greeted by the government’s high officials at the airport, according to media reports.
Mamata will accompany Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is now in Dhaka, in a programme marking the exchange of the instrument of ratification on the historic land boundary deal with Bangladesh on Saturday.
