Gazipur: A young man was hacked to death by miscreants at South Salna in Gazipur early on Thursday.

Police said the miscreants attacked Sohel Hossain, in his twenties, on his way back home from his workplace around 12:30am, and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.

Hearing his screams, local people rushed in and took him to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital and then to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he died in the morning.
