Chittagong: A group of unknown miscreants spoiled a wall illustrations at Chittagong University made for the occasion of Bengali New Year by the students of the university’s Fine Arts Institutes.

The Chawkbazar Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Nurul Huda said a group of young men riding on motorcycle threw burnt engine oil to the wall painted by the Fine Arts’ students and fled from the spot.

However, the law enforcers could not arrest any of the miscreants, said the OC.

Additional police members are deployed at the area ahead of the Bengali New Year celebration.
