A young girl with speech disorder who was allegedly violated by three youths at Mahanagar village in Manda upazila on Wednesday was found dead on Thursday.

She allegedly took her life hanging from a ceiling fan at their house around 9:00am.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital for autopsy.

Locals said three masked miscreants stormed the house of the victim on Wednesday afternoon when she was alone and took turns to rape her.

She managed to go to neighbour Ibrahim Khalian’s house after the brutally but passed out.

After regaining the senses, the victim narrated the brutality to others using sign language.

The victim’s father said he went outside to fetch her younger daughter from her school keeping Kohili at home alone.

Officer-in-charge of Manda Police Station Anisur Rahman said they will take action based on the autopsy report.
