Rajshahi: Police have cordoned off a number of houses in Court College area under Rajpara thana in Rajshahi city suspecting the presence of militants.

A team of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) carried out a block raid there at night and cordoned off the houses in the area on Tuesday morning, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (headquarters) Iftekharul Alam.
