Sylhet: Police arrested two traders of a market in Bandarbazar area of Sylhet on Thursday night in a case filed under ICT Act.

The arrestees are Inam Bin Siddik and Shah Anhar Islam, owners of ‘Katib Media’ of the market.

Anup Kumar, sub-inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said  Badrul Bin Afroz, a trader of Madina Market and a resident of Akhalia Sonali Residential area, filed the case against six traders, including the two arrestees, under the ICT Act for making derogatory comment against him on Facebook.

According to case, Inam Bin Siddik bought CC Camera and Thai glass from the shop of Badrul on credit.

Later, there had been a dispute between the two over the money. Later, the two traders along with four others posted derogatory comments against Badrul on Facebook.
