Probe body formed over HSC answer scripts seizure at RU

The authorities have constituted a three-member committee to investigate the recovery of 100 answer scripts of Islamic History of the recently held HSC examinations from a residential hall of Rajshahi University.
Dr Tarun Kumar Sarkar, exam controller of Rajshahi Education Board, on Tuesday said Board Chairman Abul Kalam Azad directed the committee to submit a report within 24-hour, reports UNB.
He further said Professor Habibur Rahman, Principal of Rajshahi College, has been made the head of the probe committee.
Two other members are — Professor Molla Mafizuddin, Principal of Government City College, Rajshahi and Akbar Hossain, Inspector (College) of Rajshahi Education Board.
Earlier on Monday, 100 unevaluated answer scripts of Islamic History of the recently held HSC exams under Rajshahi Education Board were recovered from the corridor of a dormitory of a residential hall of Rajshahi University.
The answer scripts were given to Professor Abul Kalam, a teacher of Rajshahi New Government College, to evaluate these, said Dr. Tarun Kumar Sarkar.
