Magura: The indefinite transport strike, enforced by Magura district workers union, entered second day on Tuesday.

No inter‐district transports were seen plying on the roads throughout the district due to the strike.

Earlier, Sujon Sheikh, in his twenties, a motor worker, was stabbed to death by miscreants on 3 June.

Demanding the immediate arrest of the killers, the workers union enforced the strike on Monday, said Emadur Rahman, president of the workers union.
