Chittagong: Two people were killed as a portion of a boundary wall of railway area collapsed at Madarbari in Chittagong on Tuesday morning.

Local people said the wall fell on a woman, Jannatul Ferdous, while she was waiting for her child, a class VI student, outside of a coaching centre. The wall collapse also left another unidentified person killed.

The accident occurred due to excessive rain fall, said the local people.

The Sadarghat police said fire service and police recovered the bodies. Later the bodies were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
