Brahmanbaria: A teenager was stabbed to death over posting an indecent picture on social networking site Fecebook in Pouratola area of Brahmanbaria on Wednesday night.

Mohammad Nobir Hossain, officer‐in‐charge of Sadar Police Station, said Ratul, around 15 years old, a resident of the area, allegedly posted an objectionable picture of Sajib’s wife on social networking site Facebook.

Following the incident, Sajib, a resident of Kandipara area of the town, along with his several friends stabbed Ratul indiscriminately in Pouratola area located behind the Sohag bus counter around 9:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Shaiful, a friend of Ratul, was also critically injured in the incident. And he was admitted to District Sadar Hospital.

‘We are trying to arrest Sajib and his friends for their alleged involvement with the murder,’ the OC added.
