10 new judges appointed

The government has appointed 10 new additional judges to the High Court.
In this regard, The Ministry of Law issued a circular on Monday signed by Sheikh Mohammad Zahirul Haque, a secretary of the ministry.
The new additional judges are district judges SM Mujibur Rahman, Md Amir Hossain and Md Farid Ahmed Shibli, deputy attorneys general Razik-Al-Jalil, Bhishmadev Chakrabortty, Md Salim, Md Shohrowardi and three Supreme Court lawers Khijir Ahmed Choudhury, Jyotirmoy Narayan Deb Choudhury, Md Iqbal Kabir Liton.
The circular reads: ‘The president has appointed the additional judges under the section 98 of the constitution. They will perform their duty for next 2 years.’
