Tangail: Four people were killed and three others injured when a bus rammed into a human hauler on Dhaka- Tangail Highway at Rabna bypass in Tangail on Friday.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Highway police said the accident took place in the area at about 9:30am when an Elenga-bound bus hit a human hauler coming from the opposite direction, leaving its three passengers killed on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital.

Police could not arrest anyone as the driver managed to flee away with his vehicle.
