Brahmanbaria: Two people were killed and three others were injured in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Islamabad area of Sarail upazila in Brahmanbaria on Thursday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The Highway police said the accident took place when the Dhaka-bound bus from Sylhet hit the auto-rickshaw on the highway at about 9:45am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were admitted to Sarail Upazila Health Complex.
