Rangamati: Two persons, including a leader of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS), were shot dead in an attack by miscreants at Lemuchari in Sadar upazila in the early hours of Sunday.

The Rangamati police said the deceased are Supriya Chakma, a leader of the PCJSS and a resident of Ananda Bihar area, and Malay Chakma, a resident of Rangapani area.

Local people said a gang of miscreants sprayed around 50 bullets on them leaving the duo dead on the spot at about 2:30am.
