Dhaka: Two minor siblings were found dead in a house at Kalikaprasad village of Naria upazila in Shariatpur on Monday.

The deceased are Sadia, 7, and Samiya, 5.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shariatpur Sadar hospital morgue for post-mortem.

Police said the two children slept at about 8:00pm last night. Their mother did not find any response when she called them on Monday morning. People gathered there after the mother cried out.

No marks of injury was found in the bodies of the two girls, said Naria police officer-in-charge Ekram Ali Mia.
