Pabna: Three people were beaten to death on charges of kidnapping at Bera upazila in Pabna on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The Pabna police said local people beaten three suspected kidnappers to death at about 1:00pm after rumour swept the town about kidnapping a boy.

Panic spread in the area following the incident.
