Kushtia: A man was beaten to death on theft allegations at Noudapara village in Kushtia sadar upazila in the early hours of Wednesday.

The deceased is Taslim Uddin Khan, a resident of Khejurtala village.  

Local people said Taslim was caught by the residents of the house of Amod Ali where he went to steal cows.

Villagers went in and beat Taslim to death on the spot.

The Islamic University police recovered his body and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy.
