Suspected Arakan Army man held
Rangamati: A suspected member of Arakan Army, a separatist party in Myanmar, was held from Rajasthali upazila in Rangmati on Thursday morning.
Rangamati region Army G2I major Taslim Tareque said the detainee, Aung Naung Yung Rakhain, believed to be 25 years old, was held from Taitangpara College gate area of the upazila at about 8:00am.
Joint force of BGB and Army also seized 30 yards clothe used for Myanmar Army uniform, three sets of uniform, three laptops, two digital cameras, a hand-camera, a mobile phone set, a modem, passport of his wife, two horses, and three motorcycles.
Rajasthali local journalist said Aung Naung was taken to Rajasthali police station.
