Bangladeshi beaten dead ‘by BSF’

Naogaon: A Bangladeshi young man was allegedly beaten to death by members of Border Security Force of India (BSF) near Kolumdanga border in Sapahar upazila of Naogaon in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased is Kabir Hossain, 30, a resident of the area, also a cattle trader.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion 14 commanding officer Lt Col Rafiqul Islam said Kabir had gone missing on Tuesday while a group of cattle traders along with Kabir was returning from India.
His associate cattle traders said Kabir was detained by BSF members of Adadanga camp.
Two days after his missing, local people found the body of a young man floating in a water body in the area inside Indian border at about 5:00am on Thursday.
BGB has sent a letter to BSF in this regard.
