Bullet-hit Natore Juba League man dies
Natore: Rajib, a local Juba League activist who along with another suffered bullet injuries in an attack on a procession of the party in the district town on Saturday, died at a Rajshahi hospital on Wednesday night.
Rajib succumbed to his injuries at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at about 7:45pm, said Superitendent of Police Shyamal Mukherjee.
Earlier on Saturday, Rajib and another Juba League man Nazmul sustained bullet wounds as miscreants attacked the procession at Tebaria in the district town.
Rajib was sent to the RMCH where he was put on life support at the intensive care unit. He died at the hospital today.
Meanwhile, two cases were filed against 56 leaders and activists of BNP, including central leader Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, in connection with the attack.
