Keraniganj: Miscreants set fire to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) office at Aganagar of Babu Bazar Bridge in South Keraniganj early Tuesday.

South Keraniganj police officer in-charge Jamal Uddin said the criminals set fire to the BNP office in the area at about 2:00am and the fire soon engulfed the entire office.

Later, local people doused the flame immediately. 

BNP aganagar union unit president Shafi Uddin Shafu blamed the Chhatra League leaders and activists for the arson attack.
