Chuadanga: Four activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured in an attack allegedly by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men at Doshmail Bazar in Sadar upazila of chuadanga on Friday evening.

Three of the injured are Hasan, Babu and Saiful.

Locals said the BCL activists swooped on the JCD men at about 5:00pm while they were going to join a programme marking BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s jail release day.

The attackers beat and hacked the JCD men activists, leaving four of them injured.

Later, locals rescued the injured and took them to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where doctors referred them to the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation in Dhaka.
