Mohsin Ali’s body to arrive Dhaka tonight

Dhaka: The body of Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali, who died on Monday in a Singapore hospital, will arrive at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday night, said a spokesman of the ministry.

Public relations officer of the ministry Maidul Islam said the body of Mohsin Ali will arrive in Dhaka by a flight of Singapore Airlines.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will receive the body, said Maidul.

Later, the body will be brought to minister’s Mintoo road residence and then be kept at BIRDEM mortuary.

 The body will be taken to the Dhaka Central Shaheed Minar at about 8:00am on Wednesday and be kept there for an hour for paying homage to the minister by people of all strata of life.

After that the body of Mohsin will be taken to the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Complex where a namaz-e-janza will be held. The President, the Prime Minister, Speaker, cabinet members, chief whip, whips and lawmakers will pay tribute to the late minister there. Syed Mohsin Aliwill also be given a guard of honour there.

The minister’s body will be flown by a helicopter to Moulvibazar District Stadium and then taken to his Dorjimahal’s residence of the town.

The body will be kept on the Shaheed Minar of Moulvibazar Government High School premises from 2:00pm to 4:00pm so that the people of all professions can pay their tribute to the leader. He will be laid to eternal rest at the graveyard adjacent to the shrine of Hazrat Syed Shah Mostafa Bogdadi after Asr prayer.
