Bus set on fire at Tatibazar

Miscreants set a Victor Paribahan bus on fire at Tatibazar in Dhaka on Friday morning during the countrywide non-stop transport blockade enforced by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led 20-Party Alliance.
Fire service duty office, unwilling to mention his name, said miscreants set the Sadarghat-bound bus from Rampura on fire at Tatibazar intersection at about 8:30am.
Fire service units went to the spot and doused the flame at about 8:45am, the duty officer added.
Kotwali police sub-inspector Mohammad Saiful Islam said they yet to trace the miscreants and none was injured in the incident.
