Sirajganj: Four people were killed as a truck crashed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Shyamalipara area at Ullapara upazila of Sirajgaj on Monday night.

Three people were also injured during the accident.

 Two of the deceased are Bacchu and Alamgir, residents of Ashutoshpur village in Pabna.

Identities of the other deceased could not be known yet.

The injured, Manik, Tareque, and Makin Islam, were taken to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.

The Ullapara police quoting the injured said a Pabna-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw from Sirajganj’s Hatikumrul intersection was hit by truck as it neared Shyamalipara area of Bagura’s Nagarbari Highway at about 11:30pm and left seven auto-rickshaw passengers critically injured.
Local people recovered them and sent them to local hospital.

Later, two injured were died on the way to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital and two others died undergoing treatment.
