Dhaka: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda on Thursday said a meeting on fixing the schedule for the upcoming national election will be held on Sunday (Nov 4).

‘There has been no decision yet. President Abdul Hamid has been apprised of the election preparations. The EC will sit in a meeting on November 4 for taking the decision over the election schedule,’ he told reporters emerging from Bangabhaban, reports the UNB.

A 6-member delegation of the Election Commission, led by the CEC, had a meeting with President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban that began at 4:15 pm.
