Dhaka: A five day international exhibition of branded clothing and fashion products began on Wednesday at Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall at Gulshan-1 in the city, reports UNB.

Over 45 companies from home and abroad are participating in the exhibition, titled ‘Bangladesh Fashion Carnival- 2015’, 5^th of its kind in the country. It will run till August 30, 2015.

Redcarpet365 Ltd, an event management firm, is organizing the event with the theme ‘Do Your Eid Shopping with Us’.

Mentioning that the exhibition was targeted to Eid-ul-Azha shopping, CEO of Redcarpet365 Ltd Ahmed Imtiaz told the news agency, “Visitors have started coming in the fashion carnival from the morning.”

Referring to the salient features of the carnival, he said it is creating an opportunity for both local and foreign participants to display their latest products before the potential buyers, which is expected to result in business transactions worth millions.

Twenty-five participants from Abroad are participating in this Expo and the number is increasing.
