Condé Nast-published has announced it is to stage a celebratory exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (NPG) in London’s west end.
“Vogue 100: A Century of Style” will run from February 11 to May 22, 2016 and will celebrate the sheer breadth and depth of the title’s photography since its UK launch in 1916.
Curated by the NPG, the show will feature some 280 individual images, drawn from both the publication’s own archives and from individual private collections that, when brought together, will tell the story of Vogue in Great Britain and its influence on fashion, style and culture over the past century.
