‘Hold polls within three months’

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury has urged the government to take initiatives for dialogue and holding polls within three months in order to put an end to the ongoing political crisis.
He made the call on Saturday morning during a daylong mass hunger-strike demanding a dialogue.
Badruddoza Chowdhury said it was needed for BNP to respond to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for a dialogue. But that does not mean that the prime minister cannot call for a dialogue again.
The former president also alleged that the government is not behaving properly towards the leaders and activists of the 20-party alliance and that has to be stopped.
He said it will be a matter of shame if the government does not hear the call of the people of the country and hold talks according to the pressure of foreigners.
He also said that the decision of firing at people is not correct.
