Two deputy secretaries sent to forced retirement
Public Administration Ministry has issued a notice announcing the force retirement of two deputy secretaries.
The ministry’s higher appointing authorities issued the notice on Wednesday.
The duo was public administration ministry deputy secretary Muztaba Rizwana, who was serving as an officer on special duty, and Bashir Uddin Ahmed.
Signed by the ministry’s joint secretary Mohibul Haque, the notice said the two were sent to retirement for ‘public interest’.
The order was issued under article 9 (2) of Public Servant (Retirement) Act 1974.
It was, however, said the two deputy secretaries would receive retirement benefits.
