3 shops vandalised in Ctg

Chittagong: Miscreants vandalised three electronics showrooms at Lalkhan bazar area of Chittagong on Sunday afternoon.
The local people said a group of miscreants in a truck hurled crude bombs at the area and vandalised an electronic shop, AC Bazar Industries.
The miscreant also beat employees of the organisation as they tried to stop them. They also vandalised two other business organisations, AC Palace and AC Sales Centre, and private cars parked in front of the shops.
Khulshi police sub-inspector Fakhruddin Ahmed Minhaj claimed Chhatra League activists of MIC College are responsible for organizing the sabotage. No case was filed in this connection.
At least 5 people were injured during the sabotage.
Chittagong Medical College and Hospital police post sub-inspector Pankaj Barua said condition of Mithun Das, one of the injured, is critical. The other injured received primary treatment and left the hospital.
