Chittagong: A women, Nasima Akhter, and her daughter were killed at their residence at Nalapara in Chittagong on Thursday morning.
The Detective Branch (DB) police said primarily it has been suspected that robbers killed Nasima Akhter and her daughter Riya Akhter after robbery around 9:30am.

DB said the family’s maid found the door open and discovered the bodies lying on the floor at about 10:00am.

Later, relatives of the victims came to the spot and called the police.

Police sent the bodies at hospital morgue. 

Nasima’s husband, Shah Alam, who is a meat trader, said the miscreants looted money and jewelleries from their house. He added that he left the home for work at about 8:30am.

Senior officers of police visited the spot.
