Natore: Three people were killed when a damaged truck overturned on the road in Atrai bridge toll plaza area of Singra upazila in the early hours of Thursday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The Singra police said the accident took place when the damaged truck overturned on the road breaking a jack liver while it was being repaired in the area at about 12:30midnight, leaving one person dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured died on the way to Sadar Hospital.
