Manikganj: A woman was killed as a human hauler hit her on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Muljan area of Sadar upazila, Manikganj on Monday morning.

The deceased is Morzina Begum, a resident of the area, also a worker of AKH Garments in Dhamrai upazila.

The Manikganj Sadar police said the Aricha-bound human hauler hit Morzina in the area at about 9:00am when she was going to her workplace, leaving her dead on the spot.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj Sadar Hopsital for autopsy.

A case was filed in this connection.
