Chandpur: Police recovered the bodies of two unidentified people from Lalmiar Char of Haimchar upazila in Chandpur on Friday.

Haimchar Police officer-in-charge M Oliullah Oli said local people found the body of a woman, aged around 25, at the char in the afternoon and informed police.

Later, law enforcers rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the woman at about 6:00pm.

Police also recovered the body of another person from nearby area, who could not be recognised as man or woman as it decomposed.

The two bodies were sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, added the OC.
