Jamaat leader held for derogatory remarks on PM

Comilla: Police arrested a Jamaat-e-Islami leader on Sunday on charge of making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and some Cabinet members on social networking site Facebook.
The arrestee is Md Yusuf, ameer of Chouddagram South unit of Jamaat in the upazila.
Chouddagram police officer-in charge Farhad Hossain said Yusuf uploaded caricatures of the Prime Minister, Food Minister Qamrul Islam, Awami League leaders Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Dr Hasan Mahmud and some police officials on his Facebook account and made disparaging comments against them.
A case was filed against him with Chouddagram Police Station under the ICT Act.
