Gazipur: Two people were killed and four others were injured in a collision between a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a utility vehicle in Abdar area of Sreepur upazila in Gazipur on Sunday morning.

One of the deceased is Liakat Ali a resident of Mymensingh district.

The Sreepur Model police said the auto-rickshaw collided head-on with the human hauler (locally called Tomtom) in the area at about 7:00am, leaving Liakat dead on the spot and five others injured.

Another unidentified man died on way to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex.
