Sirajganj: A man was killed and five others were injured as a bus knocked down a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Ram Char on the Hatikumrul-Bonpara road under Salanga police station in Sirajganj on Monday night.

The deceased is Abdul Jalil, a teacher of Bhadas Hafizia Madrasa in Tarash upazila.

The Salanga police said a Rajshahi-bound bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area at about 8:00pm, leaving six people injured.

Among the injured, Abdul Jalil died on way to a local clinic.
