Magura: A mobile court in Magura on Monday sentenced two video shop owners to one month’s jail and fined them Tk10,000 each for exchanging porn footages at Chaurongi in the district town.

The convicts are Ziauddin and Riad Ali, owners of two video shops in the area.

Sadar police officer-in charge Munsi Assaduzzaman said, on information, a mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ullah, conducted a raid in the area and sentenced the duo to one month’s jail and fined them Tk10,000 each for storing porn footages and exchanging those with school students.

Police seized a huge number of porno CDs from their possession.

The convicts were sent to Magura central jail.
