In Sylhet he was taken to the Sylhet Metropolitan Police office at Naiorpool.

With the arrest of Kamrul, AIG Nazrul said, 11 people have been arrested in the murder case. Now police are trying to arrest two other absconding accused. ‘We’re hopeful that they will be arrested soon.’
About the police officers allegedly involved in helping Kamrul flee the country, the AIG said an inquiry has already been conducted in this regard.
