Jhenaidah: A mobile court sentenced seven boys to one month’s imprisonment each for teasing some schoolgirls in Sadar upazila on Monday.

Hasan Hafijur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station said, being informed that some boys were teasing a few girls in front of Jhenaidah Government Girl’s High School after ending JSC examination on Monday afternoon a team of police conducted a drive there to arrest them.

Later, the law enforcers arrested the seven boys and produced them before the mobile court.

The mobile court, led by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Osman Goni, sentenced them to one month’s imprisonment each.
